The central government in a notification said it has removed import restrictions on low-ash metallurgical coke (having ash content below 18%). This is a backtrack from government's order on December 31 to extend import restrictions on low-ash metallurgical coke from January 1 till June 30, 2026. The restrictions have been removed due to imposition of an anti-dumping duty.
