The Centre may propose a policy for online gaming platforms to register with the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), according to reports. The policy aims to control financial fraud done through gaming platforms and ensures that the government scrutinises both domestic and foreign online gaming sites. The FIU analyses intelligence related to suspicious financial transactions in the country.
