Govt notifies renaming Chandigarh International Airport after Bhagat Singh
The Centre has issued a notification renaming the Chandigarh International Airport as Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport. The announcement to rename the airport was done by PM Narendra Modi in September. The 115th birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh was celebrated on September 28.
