Govt offers city gas suppliers incentives to boost PNG connections

Centre approved an incentive scheme to promote domestic PNG connections and accelerate the expansion. The scheme will incentivise eligible city gas distributors to convert unbilled connections into active gas connections and expand networks to new areas. Households are expected to benefit from faster expansion, quicker connections and wider access to safe, affordable, continuous cooking fuel.
