Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said the government is open to exploring further cuts in duties or cesses on essential medicines and medical products. He added that the government would be happy to receive industry inputs on products that could benefit from the move. Earlier, the government reduced GST on 33 lifesaving drugs to zero.
