Govt plans to push piped gas connections under PNG Drive 3.0

The government is preparing PNG Drive 3.0, a nationwide campaign expected to launch in September 2026 to accelerate household adoption of piped natural gas. The initiative will focus on increasing connections, improving consumer awareness and encouraging households located within existing city gas networks to switch to PNG. City gas distribution companies are expected to play a central role.
