CDSCO released a list of 17 active ingredients in medicines, saying that due to presence of these ingredients, the medicines should be flushed down the toilet after expiry to prevent harm to others. The ingredients include Fentanyl, Fentanyl Citrate, Morphine Sulfate, Buprenorphine, Buprenorphine Hydrochloride, Methylphenidate, Meperidine Hydrochloride, Diazepam and Hydromorphone Hydrochloride.
