Govt releases list of 6 'states of concern' amid rising COVID-19 cases

Amid rising cases of COVID-19 in India, the Centre on Thursday listed Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh as 'states of concern'. The government stated that the weekly COVID-19 positivity rate has risen to 22.12% in Maharashtra, 15.12% in Karnataka, 20.05% in Tamil Nadu, 32.34% in Kerala, 30.53% in Delhi and 6.33% in Uttar Pradesh.
