As per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2022, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi has been named the best medical college in the country. It is followed by Chandigarh's Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research and Vellore's Christian Medical College. National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences, Bangalore is ranked fourth.
