Govt responds after ITBP chief's 'face-offs with China ongoing' remark

The Centre has responded after ITBP DG, Shatrujeet Kapur, confirmed face-offs with Chinese troops remain ongoing in parts of Arunachal Pradesh. "Situation in the India-China border areas gets disturbed from time to time when Chinese forces diverge from established patrolling pattern," MEA said. It added that both sides are continuing military talks to resolve issues and improve border management.
