MEA responded to reports of Pakistani social media handles spreading misinformation regarding students' protests in India. "I don't have concrete information about what kind of content is coming from where on social media. However, our agencies are monitoring it," added Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal. Earlier, Delhi Police blocked 480 Pakistan-based social media handles for spreading fake news.
