Govt restricts 2-ingredient medicines for kids under 4

The government has restricted all fixed-dose combination medicines containing Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride for children below four. Manufacturers must display a clear warning on labels, package inserts and promotional material. The Health Ministry said the move follows expert recommendations.
