The government sent a notice to Wikipedia and pointed out several complaints of bias and inaccuracies, reports said. The government said a small group had editorial control and further asked why "Wikipedia shouldn't be treated as publisher instead of an intermediary". This comes amid a lawsuit filed by news agency ANI against Wikipedia for allegedly publishing defamatory content against it.
