Govt sets 12-hour deadline for companies to combat AI cyberattacks

India's cyber security agency CERT-In has issued a 12-hour deadline for organisations to identify and fix vulnerabilities amid the rapid rise of generative AI-powered tools. The agency proposed a broad set of measures ranging from "Zero Trust Security" and continuous monitoring to behavioural analytics.
