Govt shares age-wise daily iodine required by people

For Global Iodine Deficiency Disorders Prevention Day, the government has shared how much iodine is required by people according to their age. Those aged 0-59 months require 90 μg iodine per day. Daily requirement of iodine for people aged 6-12 years is 120 μg and those aged over 12 is 150 μg. Pregnant and lactating women require 250 μg/day iodine.
