The government shared a graph comparing the growth in Indian and Chinese stock markets. India's Sensex surged by 20% between January 2023 and January 2024, whereas China's CSI 300 Index declined by around 30% during the same period, the graph showed. While Sensex comprises 30 BSE-listed stocks, CSI 300 consists of 300 stocks listed on Shanghai or Shenzhen Stock Exchanges.
