The Ministry of Home Affairs has shared a video on the process of applying for the Indian citizenship under the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The government notified the rules four years after CAA was passed in Parliament. Applicants need to open the Indian Citizenship Online portal and register themselves. They will have to fill a form and attach required documents.
