Govt signs ₹1,580 cr agreements to boost Paradip port capacity

Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has signed agreements worth ₹1580.36 crore for three mechanisation projects. The agreement are aimed at further strengthening Paradip's capacity, efficiency and cargo-handling capabilities.These agreements are a part of the port's plan to achieve 100 per cent berth mechanisation by 2030, compared with the current level of 80 per cent.
