TMC MP Saket Gokhale criticised the government over the G20 Summit, saying that the Centre spent a whopping 300% more on the event than the funds allocated in the budget. He further claimed that the PM Narendra Modi-led government spent over ₹4,100 crore for the G20 Summit and that the budget was ₹990 crore.
