Union Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) is planning to introduce a scheme, known as the 'golden hour,' to ensure timely treatment for victims of road accidents. This initiative aims to provide free cashless treatment for up to Rs 1.5 lakh or 7 days of hospitalization, whichever is less, within the first 60 minutes of the accident.
