The government would decide the timing of LIC IPO, initially planned for in March, within this week, a senior official told PTI. It'd be tough to decide whether to go ahead with the retail and domestic investor demand or wait for FIIs, the official added. Notably, if the IPO is not launched by May 12, it'd be deferred till August-September.
