Centre has selected eight firms, including Avataar.ai, TechMahindra, Fractal Analytics, and BharatGen as beneficiaries to get incentives under the IndiaAI Mission, reports stated. This second round of selection comes under the broader incentive window worth ₹1,500 crore to support firms building foundational models. In the first round, four startups were approved to receive subsidised GPUs.
