Govt to launch one-time window for taxpayers to disclose foreign assets: Report
The Centre is likely to launch a one-time compliance scheme from August 15 for resident taxpayers who failed to disclose foreign assets, accounts or income, Moneycontrol reported. The scheme will allow disclosures until December 31 without harsher Black Money Act penalties. It will cover taxpayers with undisclosed foreign income up to ₹1 crore or assets up to ₹5 crore.
