The government is set to launch 'Sanchar Saathi' web portal that will allow citizens to block or track their stolen mobile phones across India. The pilot of the tracking and blocking system has been running in places like Delhi and Maharashtra. The pan-India launch of the system will take place on World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (May 17).
