The Centre is planning to sell minority stakes in Bank of Maharashtra, Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, Central Bank of India and Punjab & Sind Bank in FY27, Moneycontrol reported. The stakes will be offloaded when the market is most favourable. An earlier report mentioned that the Centre's stake in each of these banks will be brought down below 75%.
