The Centre has proposed a new model of 'Federated Digital Identities' under which IDs including PAN card, Aadhaar card, driving licence and passport can be stored, interlinked and accessed via one unique ID, The Indian Express reported. The proposal is expected to be in the public domain soon and the government will seek comments by February 27, the report said.
