The United States government has announced a temporary increase of 64,716 additional H-2B work visas for temporary non-agricultural foreign workers for the fiscal year, supplementing the existing cap to help American employers fill seasonal and short-term labour needs where domestic workers are unavailable. The decision comes through a joint DHS and Department of Labor rule.
