OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said the company's AI model GPT-4 "sometimes totally goes off the rails and makes a dumb mistake [that] even a six-year-old would never make". He stated that the model isn't very good at reasoning. "We're still so early in developing such a complex system," he said. Altman added that GPT-5 will be a "significant leap forward".
