Humans of Bombay in a tweet said, "We are grateful to HONY (Humans of New York) & Brandon for starting this storytelling movement." The tweet came after HONY creator Brandon Stanton criticised Humans of Bombay for suing the portal 'People of India'. Brandon had tweeted to Humans of Bombay, "You can't be suing people for what I've forgiven you for."
