Six new Rafale fighter jets on Wednesday flew over Athens, the first of 24 purchased by Greece in a defence deal with France at a cost of more than €3 billion. "The new Rafale jets which landed today are ready to take off for a better, more peaceful future for the whole region," Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said.
