Greek intelligence chief resigns amid wiretapping allegations

The head of Greece's intelligence service has resigned amid allegations that a journalist and an opposition politician had their mobile phones targeted by spying software. Panagiotis Kontoleon submitted his resignation "following mistaken actions found during lawful wiretapping procedures", PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis' office said. Secretary-General of the PM's office, Grigoris Dimitriadis, also quit.
