A new bill in US' Ohio could restrict Green Card holders from purchasing property in some parts of the state. This legislation proposes limiting foreign entities' purchases of certain properties, notably agricultural land and land within 25 miles (40 kilometres) of military sites and essential infrastructure facilities. A Green Card is proof of one's permanent resident status in the US.
