US President Donald Trump said Greenland is strategically important for the US but not for Denmark. "Denmark doesn't spend money to really help Greenland, but it's an important part of the US... We need it for the protection of the world," Trump said. His remarks came after Mette Frederiksen said, "Greenland is, of course, not for sale."
