A grenade was found outside a house in the residential area, Ranjit Avenue, of Punjab's Amritsar on Friday. Later, the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad reached the spot and reportedly diffused the explosive in open land. It comes days after Punjab Police recovered an improvised explosive device (IED), fitted inside "a tiffin box" near Daleke village in Amritsar on Sunday.
