Online grocery service Grofers has been told to pay ₹8,000 to a Mumbai woman over its failure to refund ₹31 for undelivered watermelon seeds in 2020. A consumer disputes redressal commission ordered a compensation of ₹5,000 for mental agony and ₹3,000 for litigation costs. The woman fell prey to cyber fraud while trying to secure the refund and lost ₹5,000.
