Shares of Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) rose nearly 5% after the Centre approved Navratna status for the defence PSU. The upgrade grants greater financial and operational autonomy, allowing GRSE to make larger investments and pursue expansion plans without seeking prior government approval in several cases.
