The gross GST collection in September rose by 6.5% year-over-year to ₹1.73 lakh crore, as per the latest government data. After accounting for refunds worth ₹20,458 crore, the net GST collection stood at ₹1.52 lakh crore, roughly 4% higher than a year ago. Total GST collection in FY25 so far rose by 10.1% YoY to around ₹9.13 lakh crore.
