Tariq Ba Odah, who is on a hunger strike in a US prison in Guantanamo Bay since 2007, is nearing death. The 36-year-old is being force-fed twice a day, but the attempts have proved to be ineffective in improving his condition. The 1.62 metre-tall Odah, who weighs just 33.7 kg has not been charged since he was arrested in Pakistan.
