The Indore Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court directed the state government to enforce a strict ban on Chinese manjha. The court stated that guardians will be held legally responsible if minors are found using the banned kite-flying string. Two people have died after their throats were allegedly slit by Chinese manjha in Indore since November 2025.
