Guatemala President Alejandro Giammattei has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for providing 2,00,000 doses of the Covishield vaccine to the country. Giammattei said that the doses will help "us save lives and immunise frontline healthcare workers". During an address, he also thanked the "people of India" and said that the Indian government "did not hesitate to support us".
