The Gujarat government on Saturday ordered the police cyber cell to conduct a probe into rumours of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani's "impending resignation" circulating on social media for the last couple of weeks. The probe is aimed at nabbing those trying to create "instability" in Gujarat, the government said. Rupani had dismissed the rumours and called them "baseless".
