Guj startup SatLEO to launch India's 1st commercial thermal payload into space

Ahmedabad-based startup SatLEO is set to launch its thermal-imaging satellite TAPAS-1 on October 1, marking India's first commercial thermal payload launch in the CubeSat category. The 3-kg payload will fly a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket as part of the Transporter-18 mission. A thermal payload is an instrument used to detect thermal infrared radiation emitted by a planet's surface or atmosphere.
