Gujarat AAP MLA Chaitar Vasava was arrested on Saturday on multiple charges, including attempt to murder, after he allegedly attacked a Dediapada taluka panchayat functionary, the police said. The MLA reportedly got agitated over his nominee not being considered for appointment as a member of a local-level coordination committee. Vasava also allegedly abused the woman president of Sagbara taluka.
