Gujarat has intensified its anti-mosquito drive during the monsoon, conducting over 9.4 million malaria tests so far in 2026. More than 19,500 health teams have reached 65.1 million people through door-to-door surveys. Authorities also destroyed 2.9 million mosquito breeding sites and expanded dengue and chikungunya surveillance to curb disease spread.
