The Gujarat High Court has asked the NMC and MCC to explain why they are unwilling to conduct another round of MBBS counselling, despite 57 seats remaining vacant after four rounds. Hearing a plea by MEDGUJ, the court noted that extra rounds were held last year and recently for BDS, and questioned the rationale for excluding MBBS admissions.
