A man in Gujarat's Surat, Mitul Trivedi, allegedly claimed he designed Chandrayaan-3's lander module after which police launched a probe. In interviews, he claimed he made changes in the module which is why it landed successfully. "He even claims to be working with NASA," an official said. Surat DCP (Special Branch) Hetal Patel said he couldn't prove his claims.
