Gujarat reports 225 suspected Chandipura cases, 25 deaths

Gujarat has reported 225 suspected Chandipura virus cases since June 30, with 39 confirmed infections and 25 deaths. Testing has been completed for 212 cases, while results for 13 samples are awaited. Health authorities continue surveillance, testing and vector-control measures as the state monitors the outbreak, which mainly affects children during the monsoon.
