India’s Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, planned for phased completion by 2024, faces delays due to land acquisition issues, contractor setbacks, and execution challenges. A small stretch in Gujarat is now holding up the project. The delayed sections are Packages 8, 9, and 10 of the Vadodara–Virar stretch: Jujuwa-Gandeva, Karvad-Jujuwa, and Talsari-Karvad.
