World chess champion Gukesh D has slipped below the 2700 mark in the live classical ratings for the first time in four years. This comes after he was held to a draw by Indonesia's Satria Duta Cahaya in Chess Olympiad 2026's Round 2. Gukesh, who entered the tournament with a rating of 2703, now has a live rating of 2699.5.
