An internet user vandalised the Wikipedia page of Filmfare Awards and labelled the awards won by 'Gully Boy' this year as "paid". The hashtag #BoycottFilmfareAwards has also been trending on Twitter. Notably, 'Gully Boy' won 13 awards, including the Best Actor and Best Actress awards, making it the highest awarded film by the ceremony ever.
